You are looking at a lovely PIONEER PL-12D turntable. All premium listings have been fully serviced and checked thoroughly for performance and function and come with a full 1 year guarantee (conditions apply). Lovely Popular classic audiophile turntable from 1972 to 1976. Features belt drive, speeds for 45 & 33 rpm. The S shaped arm is a delight to use, very smooth operator with no detectable play etc. The lid and its hinge is very well engineered, as is most of the record deck. The Zinc alloy platter weighs in at 2kg. The cartridge is an excellent SHURE M75ED Type II moving magnet with a very good stylus. Motor: 4-pole synchronous motor. Speeds: 33 and 45rpm. Speed accuracy: 1.0% or less. Wow and flutter: 0.1% WRMS. Platter: 30cm aluminium alloy. Dimensions: 430 x 160.5 x 349mm. I have serviced the bearing and fitted a brand new belt. 110/130-220/240v Made in Japan. Currently set for 220-240 volt operation. Its in great working order & in lovely condition some very light marks on the lid. 9.5 out of 10. Comes packed in its original box with the owners manual and with all leads. Please note as usual with any vintage turntable you will need an amplifier with a Phono input stage built in. Of course can be used with an external phono stage.
