For your consideration is one of the best Full Auto turntables Pioneer PL-570. Huge, heavy and beautiful. All internal parts are sitting on a die cast aluminum plate. Original dust cover is very nice. Some swirl and light marks, but it is one of the best I’ve seen. Buffed and polished with Meguire’s products. All calibrated, adjusted, etc and works like a Swiss watch. Speed pots were cleaned with Dioxit. The motor is dead quiet. Quartz Locks almost instantly. Original fake wood vinyl was stripped and real wood veneer applied. I don’t use any power tools. Each side glued and trimmed before the next one applied. I use only raw wood veneer. No peel and stick or paper back veneer. All sides trimmed to perfection. Six coats of oil based finish applied with sanding between. Silky smooth to the touch, satin sheen finish. Arm lifter rod was cleaned and lubed with a new damping fluid. Platter was wet sanded and polished. All control aluminum plates were polished and look excellent and no missing letters. All knobs, buttons, tonearm pieces were cleaned and polished. Moving parts were cleaned from old almost solid grease, then washed with IPA and lubricated with a white lithium grease. The Pioneer comes with an excellent sounding Shure 97x cartridge with original stylus. Watch a short video here. View the zoomed in pictures. Platter, counterweight, hinges removed and double boxed.
