1960s TELEFUNKEN ANDANTE STEREO. PALISANDER WOOD PE RECORD PLAYER. RADIO BUILT IN SPEAKER. Attention, all you DESIGN RECORD PLAYER fanatics. This is a very rare stereo equipment set from the 1960s Panton Eames era. A real hifi design classic from Germany. This unique TELEFUNKEN PALISANDER HIFI SET looks really awesome with its stunning straight design, on this very cool chromed base. The body is made of palisander wood. This device has a very high quality topping. There are built in PE 2001 Automatic turntable / record player and a Telefunken Andante radio device. Both hidden under a almost invisible wood lid. On front there are the built in speakers and a drawer on the right side. When the lid is closed the whole unit looks like a big palisander loudspeaker sideboard on a chrome base. A very unique design item! The record player has a new cartridge on it. Plays 16, 33, 45 and 78 rpm. This desirable collectible is in good condition, some scratches all around. No rips or cracks. This vintage collectors´ item is fully working with a new service on it. It’s realy well tended. We did some detailed pictures to give a perfect impression of this very cool item. This is a very rare & famous stereo equipment set from the 1960s / 70s. A real hifi design classic from Italy. Designed by Pier Giamcomo & Achille Castiglioni. Playfully arranged dials and knobs, which form a face. The speakers can be easily hung on the sides of the body or the generous wiring allowed them to be placed elsewhere on the floor to best suit the listener. The speakers can be folded up when not in use, that makes the design more compact. The body is made of press wood with very chic laminated wood finish. There are built in DUAL 1211 half automatic turntable / record player and a radio device. The whole unit is on a aluminium base with wheels, so is it very mobile in your room.
