New Cycle Cam tire, not resurfaced with liquid rubber. New motor mounts and board cushions also from VM Audio. New cartridge with diamond stylus bridged to play both mono and stereo 45’s. Motor dismanteled and bearings soaked in lacquer thinner to remove old hardened factory grease that causes motor to run slow and hot. After cleaning bearings are lubricated with Turbine Oil for long playing at correct speed. Bakelite cabinet, Tonearm, platter, spindle, spindle cap and switch polished to a high gloss. All internal parts cleaned and moving parts polished with 1500 grit paper for smooth effortless operation. You can stack as many as 15 records on spindle for long uninterrupted playing. Restored Vintage Garrard Lab 80 Record Player Turntable wth original Wooden Plinth Case Frame. This turntable is in excellent condition having been fully restored to its original operating condition, save some minor cosmetic imperfections common with use. The turntable works perfectly including the auto arm return with the automatic long record spindle and auto shut off after last record play. All switches on the switch panel work, including the illuminated diameter indicator. The wooden Plinth base is original and in good shape however, the original lead feet are missing and have been replaced with rubber feet of the correct size so it doesn’t wobble. RESTORED Marantz 6110 Belt Drive Turntable. Signet TK5E Cartridge with Audio Technica 1 stylus – A very nice cart that mates great with this table. Dust cover has been sanded and polished – it’s still not perfect but is VERY presentable. Walnut Veneer is in overall great shape with some very minor peeling at the bottom. Upgraded cables leading from table to electronics/amp/receiver. Speed is smooth and reads at approximately 33.42 rpms & 45.1 rpms. Original Owner’s Manual included. Detail cleaned from the silver “faceplate” to the wood veneer to the inside (under the bottom plate). All internal moving pieces cleaned and lubed including but not limited to auto shut-off features, spindle. Upgraded “hocky puck” style feet. New replacement anti-skate weight. 45 adaptor is not original. I KNOW how to pack a table and use high quality materials and boxes. The table isn’t perfect – a few minor flaws here and there but it works great after the restoration work and is overall gorgeous. This particular radio-phonograph combination is in a splendid cosmetic condition and great working order. It has a four speed record player 78, 45, 33, 16 rpm. The tube radio picks up LW, MW, and UKW signals (Broadcast, Long Wave, and FM). The lacquer and the vaneers are in a splendid order. The complete turntable and radio were revised. The turntable was completly cleaned, re-oiled, adjusted and calibrated. All tubes were checked and defective replaced, all defective capacitors and resistors were replaced, the phono cartridge and the needle are new, all individual parts were cleaned, the housing complex was cleaned and polished, all mechanical parts were cleaned and re-oiled, all contacts were refreshed, technically checked, etc. (Please look at the pictures). The radio-phonograph is in a perfect working order. The cabinet is in a very good condition, due to the age of the device. For your consideration today is a restored vintage turntable fully automatic Pioneer PL-530. I decided to do this 530 in a modern wood color. Cleaned all in and out. All functions serviced, lubed, etc. Lettering on aluminum face plate is perfect. Original fake wood vinyl was replaced with a real wood olive ash burl raw veneer. Silky smooth satin finish. What you see is its original color. Original cover isn’t perfect, but it’s very nice. I wet sanded, buffed and polished with McGuire three step products. Tonearm and all metal parts, knobs, screws, etc were cleaned and polished. All moving parts cleaned and lubricated. Plays and sounds perfectly. Ready for another 40 year old run.
