Original John Vassos design phonograph in need of restoration. In general the unit appears complete including record holder/dividers. Appears to be with all original parts with minor scratches due to age from 1937. Missing the handle on the outside. Please see all photos because they are part of the description.

1936 John Vassos RCA Victor “The Special” Phonograph Model L. Original green linen case with polished aluminum. It looks to be close to complete, the needle and set screw is missing. I included a video of the turntable running. I don’t know much about vintage audio, I haven’t done anything to the piece or had it looked at by tech. Plays 78 rpm shellac records, wind up motor for turntable, battery operated 4 tube amplifier. There is minor wear to the case and turntable area. The inside battery has some oxidation and there is dust residue. I haven’t tried to clean it, I figured the new owner would like that… Message me If you would like additional photo’s of certain areas. Local pick-up is always welcomed. All packages will be insured.
