Belt drive Auto return Lead-in/stop Anti-Skating When starting to play, the needle tip is aligned with the start point of the record and the lead switch is pulled to start the needle going down. The design of the wooden box around the periphery, the Sansui logo in Chinese characters, and the weight-shaped anti-skating (inside force canceller) are all beautiful and functional. The DT-33H needle is suitable for those who listen to jazz, fusion, and rock music. I used a Pioneer SA-7400II amplifier and B&W CM1 speakers at the time, a mixture of old and new systems. The appearance is in good condition with some minor scratches and scuffs on the cover and other parts. The actual color is darker brown than shown in the picture. The texture of the wood part is also good, and the color changes depending on the lighting and the direction of the viewer, and it looks good as an interior decoration. The operation has been checked with sound, rotation speed, and auto-return. Please note that the cam makes a clicking sound before auto-return, but this is not a malfunction. The rubber belt that turns the turntable has been replaced with a new one. Please use it in western Japan. We are not a store, so we do not have detailed sound quality measurements using equipment. We recommend that you have basic knowledge of record players, such as re-setting the turntable, re-fitting the belt, and adjusting the needle pressure. A great vintage record player. Works great and is all intact. Only thing missing is the anti-skate weight and twine that goes on the metal hook in the last picture. Record player still works fine without this, you just have to manually place the armature back to resting position at the end of the album. Most of these players you find are missing this and it is easily replaced with some nylon fishing line and a small weight (such as a small digital scale calibration weight which can be picked up for a couple bucks).
