WORKING, Vintage Admiral Record Player Y 4609 Turntable Phonograph stand 1950s Turquoise Mid Century. Nice, working, vintage Admiral portable record player on a rolling stand from the 50s. Plays 33, 45, 78 speeds and sounds great, with a little scratching sound when adjusting volume/tone. Fully operational with 33, 45, 78 speed combination needle. Cabinet sits on top of stand (Not connected). Bottom side of cabinet has tears and wear from stand. Phonograph cabinet measures 15″w x 17″d x 8h. Rolling steel stand with record holder measures 27h x 18 x 18. Cabinet has wear and tear to some surface areas and some discoloring.

Vintage admiral solid state record player Deep Profile Stereo Sound System. You are looking at a vintage Admiral record player. I put a 33 record on it. I turned it to on and the turntable started. I did the REJ and the record dropped, the needle went up and over. The needle did not drop. It went to the correct position to drop on the 33. I do not know why it did not drop. I could not check it out any further as could not figure out how to get the needle to the record. The vinyl on top of the turntable is warped. The bass knob is missing the chrome center. I did wipe a bunch of dust off it. It needs a deep clean and will show better. Everything else seems to work as it should. The pictures should show details and condition. Restored by Jimmy O. Here’s an excellent vintage 1958 Admiral Stereo HiFi. Fully restored, and plays and sounds fantastic! A true testament to American HiFi design.. Check out the video below for a small sample. Of what this player sounds like! This player is just so cool. The automatic 4 speed Admiral record changer was completely taken apart. And redone to work like new again.. Has a new drive belt, turntable matt, and a stereo cartridge, so you can play both mono or stereo records on this. Also comes with its original automatic 45 adapter, which sits conveniently in its holder inside the player, and allows you to stack records and they will each play automatically. The 3 tube amplifier was also redone, with all new capacitors and resistors for long life and a wonderful sound! See the last photos for the many parts that needed to be replaced! This has a powerful 4 speaker stereo system, boasting all Alnico speakers! The front controls allow you to adjust Loudness, Balance. Bass and Treble, Mono, Stereo. Tubes include: a 12ax7, and dual NOS 50C5 Sylvania black plate outputs. The main cabinet has its original coverings which are still in very nice shape, having only some very light wear, and some bubbling to the white on the inside lid… This unique player has a convenient stereo speaker, that attaches to the inside top lid, and conveniently swings up and out, so you can place it anywhere in the room you like for full stereo sound! Comes with a generous 10 feet of speaker cord too! The speaker grill cloth is also original, and in good condition with no holes or tears, just some stains here and there. Gold tapered wood legs are the final detail. That really make this player stand out! An all together fabulous vintage Admiral record player, sure to bring you and your family many years of listening pleasure! This item belongs to a friend of mine and she’s downsizing and needs to get rid of some of her older things to remodel. This cabinet belong to her parents. Time to pass it on to someone that collects vintage items in working condition. Does need a good dusting and cleaning the parts. The record might need a new stylus maybe not sure. It’s old and has natural scratches but overall the cabinet is in very very good condition. I don’t know the make of it or the model number but sure it’s on there somewhere. Cabinet height is 32″ X 35″ Long X 16 Wide. It’s a Admiral (was told it might be around the 1948 era) Record Player and Radio. Thanks for looking at my item. Rare Vintage ADMIRAL Solid State Suitcase Record Player. This plays fine through the external speaker cable, one cable not sure if it ever had two. The internal speaker has a buzz when unit is turned on, but no music plays through it. It does play good and it does cycle a stack of records. I have not found this model in all my internet searches. It has two model numbers on it. One inside the unit and one on the back tag. The inside is RC850A-10BF The outside tag is YM1317. Admiral Model HP 2238 Vintage Portable Phonograph Turntable Suitcase Record Player. Made in Chicago, this piece is in good condition for its age! Designed to play 16, 33, 45 and 78 rpm records. The player mechanism works – the platter spins but makes noise. The platter is metal with a fuzzy material on it. The tune knobs rotate. It is a good foundation for repairs. It will be great to display or add to your collection as it is (None Working Condition). The “suitcase” box measures about 17 1/2 x 15 x 7 1/4 inches. It is heavy and weighs about 25 pounds. It is a dirty and dusty and it has some scuffs and scratches. See pictures for more description. This is not perfect but in good vintage condition. Great to add to display.
