MID CENTURY MAGNAVOX – ASTRO SONIC. The cabinet is solid in a blond wood finish, and in great condition with minor age appropriate wear. It has gold and brass details as shown in the photos. The fabric speaker covers on the front and sides are in great shape. Radio panel and turntable are clean. The radio plays (needs an antenna). The record player’s stylus needle is in place as is the 45 rpm adapter. The turntable does not appear to work, however, I was told by a vintage console repair expert that it is a DIY simple fix. There is an LP album storage compartment on the left side of the cabinet. Measures approx: 37″w x 14″d x 30h. This is a beautiful unusual retro item that will be a conversation piece for years to come. Because it is a vintage piece, I do not touch the parts or finish but with a little cleaning and polish, this beauty will truly shine.
