Kenwood KP-1100 Turntable Record Player Auto-Lift

This is a Kenwood model KP-1100 Direct Drive Turntable. This was the top of the line for Kenwood back in the 80’s (not counting the L-07D, which was made before this one), and it is heavy. It is fully functional, it’s manual with the exception of the auto-lift at the end of the record, a nice feature and it works as it should. There is no cartridge included in this sale, the cartridge shown in the picture is not included. The turntable is in nice shape with a few exceptions. The dust cover has some significant scratches on the top and sides. The plinth is in good shape, however the left corner in separated for some reason, possible water damage, I’m not sure. I decided not to try and fix it because it never bothered me and it doesn’t affect the performance. This model has the C. System that Kenwood developed to help isolate the turntable, you can read about it here… This item was made for the Japanese market so it wants to see 100 Volts, you will need a step-down transformer.
