Vintage USA Made Empire Belt Drive Turntable Record Player (Model 698) with it’s original instructions & schematics. This is one of the best conditioned examples of this amazing turntable that you will find. The 698 is the final & most refined turntable they made & arguably one of the best looking record players ever made. I’ve tested this thoroughly and it is working just fine, however. I will be packing this with the platter & mat removed, wrapped & packed separately. The wood & glass top will be removed from the hinge mechanisms & padding will be put in between the top & deck. The tonearm will be removed, padded & placed under the empty underside of the plinth. I rarely get to the post office more than once every 2 weeks.
