The record player is cosmetically in very good condition. It is very mid-century, could use some touch-up on the stain, but there are no deep scratches or chips in the wood. The gold speaker cover is in perfect condition. The inside is very clean, and the record player has all new old stock tubes and a new needle. I started restoring it, but never finished. I have 28 tube radios to restore and 5 other record players, so I’m letting go of this project. It needs volume repair, it has an extremely loud hum anytime it’s turned on, there is no volume from the record, and the tone arm stops halfway into the record. It will probably need rebuilt or would make a great decoration piece or prop. The auto-changing mechanism is fully functional and it would work find if those issues were fixed, but it likely needs rebuilt and lubricated. It is a rare record player.
