Historic find here – in Excellent original condition — we present this vintage Dual/United Audio 601 Turntable made in Germany. Owner is the 2nd owner on this unit – includes copy of the original sales receipt from Pacific Sales (Southern California) back in 1975. Also includes all the goodies shown in the pictures. Features a United Audio plinth (which was the plinth they used for Canada and US markets). Currently has an Empire EXL-20 improved cartridge w/new purple stylus. Turntable was fully serviced by Audio Xpert is Las Vegas, NV in 2020 (includes receipt). Works great, no known issues. Some minor faint scuffs on the top of dustcover. The sound warm and bright. Here we have a Technics SL-1900. It has been tested and works however there are a few issues. The cueing lever/mechanism doesnt automatically work. You have to screw it and unscrew it in order to raise/lower it. It’s missing a knob underneath the unit. And there is a crack on the back right of the dust cover but it has been repaired/filled in.
