Powers on and platter spins however last time I tried to use it it made a loud humming noise and I could not get it to work properly. Unique turntable concept as the base of the turntable is made of plastic granulates, stone powder and mineral fibers pressed together under high heat. The underside is formed so that no possible resonating cavity remains resulting in awesome sound! Turntable is from original owner. Looks great (please view images). The turntable will need a new cartridge or needle as the the current cartridge is missing a needle. To test the turntable I swapped out the headshell and the turntable works exquisitely.
