First photo shows how it looks on dedicated audio rack and second photo shows how it looks on the bench so you can imagine how it would look where you put the record player. I personally use audio rack for better isolation and it looks better too. Rega RP8 is top of the line record player just below RP10 and I actually compared between two turntables and could not tell any difference in terms of sonic quality so went with RP8. I also compared it with RP6 and RP8 is definitely upgrade though. I replaced RB808 tonearm with Origin Live Alliance Tonearm and I actually prefer this combination. RB808 tonearm was a bit warm and lush sounding and Origin Live Alliance tonearm has silver plated wire all the way which provided more detail and resolution. And, Origin Live tonearm can adjust VTA easily so which is a bonus. I will also include Ortofon 2M Black cartridges. I have used this cartridge just under 2 years and not sure how many hours ran so far but it still sounds great. However, it may require replacement stylus in the near future and you can either put 2M bronze or 2M black stylus and continue enjoy amazing sound out of this gorgeous turntable and cartridge combination.
