The turntable it is in great condition… I did play some records and it did sound great.. This is a rather lovely early Linn Sondek LP12.. Bought several years ago.. I had it serviced and I have only had the opportunity to use only a handful of times since… Service included new springs and belt and supplied with new oil, still have the original springs. Please study the pictures as this is the actual turntable for sale and form part of the description.. As you can see this has been exceptionally well cared for, thete are minor signs of use and age… The lid is bright and clear but does have some marks, it does stay up so hinges are ok. The armboard is Rega type arms, but can accept over brands. This is an original early model serial no 0029 which dates it 1979ish.. However there are a number of fans who believe the early original models have a sound that is lost on the latest versions.. The tonearm and cartridge have listed seperately.. I will very carefully pack, removing the platter and packing lid seperately. Linn Sondek LP12 Record Player Turntable + Pre Cirkus Bearing + Valhalla PSU Power Supply Unit. As you can see from these pictures, it is in Wonderful Used condition throughout. Its Perspex Lid has just the Smallest of Marks & Scratches on it. It is about 35 + Years Old! It had a Linn Ittok LV II Tonearm fitted to it. (NOT Supplied with it). It has the Pre Cirkus Bearing Upgrade, it is Fitted with the Valhalla Power Supply Unit (PSU) Upgrade as well. It sounded great & ran at its correct speed very well indeed. A copy of its Original Instruction Manual should be available for you to Download from the Internet if required.
