The Magnavox Micromatic Turntable is a vintage record player with a sleek white design and the model number 2CA815. It is a wired turntable that offers a compact and portable option for playing vinyl records. Radio and turntable work! It has not been serviced or restored. The receiver works great. The turntable works (see video) but needs a little work as it is scratchy sounding. The turntable needs a new idler wheel as the rubber on the current one has hardened which makes it noisy. It would also benefit from a new stylus. Otherwise it works as the video shows. If I find time l, I may order a new idler wheel and install it. If I do, I will update this listing. I have a lot of projects so probably won’t get to this restoration anytime soon. If you are handy at all it is a simple task to replace idler wheel and stylus. The album drops but the arm always goes to the 45 setting on the album. I did put the needle on the album manually and the needle works but I don’t know if the unit would need cleaning. There are definite signs of use. Some corners are worn through. Original cords and all function correctly.

Magnavox Stereo Micromatic Turntable Portable Record Player Power All Transistor Measures 18″x16″x9 when it’s closed up and weighs just under 26 lbs. Includes the original paperwork shown. Item is pre owned. In excellent original condition. Minimal signs of wear, please refer to photos. Nothing I would consider notable damage. Plays and operates well. Turntable moves smoothly, speakers work well, knobs seem to all be working appropriately. Vintage 60s Magnavox Micromatic 2k8888. Up for grabs we have a Magnavox Micromatic vintage record player. There are 4 Speeds; 78, 45, 33, 16. Please see all pictures as they are part of the description! I plugged in the record table and hooked it up to an amp&pre-amp and IT WORKS! I always just assumed since the cord was messed up, it wouldn’t turn on. Now the only issue is that the turn table speed seems slightly off, judging by the vocals on my record maybe it needs some lubrication? Also please see in the picture that the plug in is messed up, but it doesn’t seem to be impacting the way it’s running. It may just need some dialing in, but sounds like a great project for those who like working on record players. Please let me know if you have any questions! Edited the description 1/3/23 after foolishly plugging it in for the first time to see it actually does run. I always just assumed since the plug in was a bit messed up, it wouldn’t turn on! All Transistor MAGNAVOX Stereo Portable Luggage Record Player Micromatic made in Model number 1SC239 made in England. As you could see in the 1st photo the caution label is no longer attached to the unit I will bag it up and put it separately. I made a YouTube video showing how it works. YouTube video link below. I would think due to age it needs a new needle, some speakers or replace the capacitors in the amp or other work. This unit has the regular vintage USA plug on it for power. In the photo is shows the items on a scale for weight comparison only in pounds and ounces. The item weighs 27 pounds. The scale is not part of the sale.
