Cord gets tucked away underneath but missing cover to hold cord in. There is a small dent on the top cover. Had this for 2+ years and used it very lovingly to play both 33 and 45 records. Works with batteries and with any universal 9v adapter. I added a yellow striped sticker for my own aesthetic appeal. Player works, but the volume output is very low. I have to crank up my stereo all the way up to get some enjoyable sound from it. Seeing this a common problem with these units over time and needs service (Im not technically inclined to take this apart and have since bought a new modern record player). As cool as this player is, i just know I wont be using it anymore now that Ive replaced it. Otherwise, units in excellent condition and just beautiful to look at. Audio-Technica Mister Disc AT770 Portable Record Player, tested works.. I replaced both turn table belts with new ons. I applied two stickers to the speed adjustment holes on the bottom indicating which hole is which and what direction to turn the pot screws to speed up or slow down the motor speed. Another thing to point out about these players. Normally records are supported by lying flat on the players platter. With this player the record is unsupported except for the small area on the turntable. So 45’s play fine, larger records unless they are perfectly straight will rub on the player, causing it to speed up and slow down. See photos for item’s condition. Comes with a box and the original tone arm holder/45 adapter. All audio outputs have been tested and work. Also included is a reproduction instructions sheet. I also greased the platter spinner hole and pin, and lubricated the motor transfer wheel.
