Vintage, preowned Thorens Turntable TD166 MKII with original box and foam inserts! Tested and in basic working condition. Adjustments, fine tuning, proper cleaning may be needed. Please view video in this listing for a demonstration. Read ALL turntable notes below. Turntable and most components of it will need a good, thorough cleaning. Misfit Collectibles will not clean this item in an effort to best preserve it’s original condition and avoid inadvertently inflicting any damage. Basic functions of the turntable were tested. Misfit Collectibles cannot guarantee the functionality of all features. Wires have some wear. Some of the foam from the inserts stuck to parts of the wire from sitting inside the box for a prolonged period of time. Turntable and wood base itself has lots of wear, marks, and some chips. Small section of the the RCA wires are fraying, but still functional. Most, if not all, components of this turntable appear to be original. Underside of each top box flap have “garage sale” pricing written in black marker. Portions of the outer box have severe damage. Please refer to photos for condition as they are part of the description. Additional photos available upon request. Reasonable offers will be considered. Serial number is concealed in the listing, but will be used in the event of a fraudulent claim. Actual serial number as well as unique hidden identifiers have been documented via photos and video. Pioneer PL-12 D II MKII MK2 RETRO VINTAGE 1970’S RECORD PLAYER / TURNTABLE coming with original BOX! Sell include vintage cartridge/stylus! This machine almost single-handedly re-wrote the book on what a fine audiophile turntable should at minimum be. It is belt drive, on a sturdy chassis, with full suspension all requirements to at minimum lay claim to at least being audiophile standard. Switched on and turntable rotate, change of speed between 33 and 45 make it run faster but this was only test done. Plastic cover have some scratches on top. I have added additional photos so these can be seen better. Please read description carefully. Cash on collection is also accepted.
