1950’s RCA record player great for restoration needs. It looks nice and clean. Plug it in and the turntable turns and the tone are starts to move. I don’t have any 45’s so I can’t try it. It looks like it has an edge crack to repair. Check out the photo’s for condition.

I only had a very warped record to test this but it seemed to work fine. I’m sure it will need basic maintenance like greasing. Both speakers work but the one I have to put the wire up higher to get it to come on. Cosmetic condition is very nice for age. With its unique combination of features and tested reliability, this product offers a nostalgic and functional addition to any vintage audio and video collection.

1953 Columbia 360 record player, manufactured by CBS, the company that invented the LP 33 1/3 record. At the time this was considered a top of the line HiFi phonograph. With it’s two 6 inch speakers and 4 tube push – pull amplifier it has incredible sound and plenty of volume. The record changer is a beautiful V-M 950 three speed with record stacking capability. It can play 33’s, 45’s and 78’s with proper tonearm set down and automatic shut off after the last record has played. Included is a 45 RPM adapter that has been rebuilt for flawless operation. The mechanism has been carefully restored with a complete disassembly and thorough cleaning. It was then reassembled, lubricated, adjusted and tested. A new idler wheel and motor mounts have been installed. The flock on the turntable platter is in good condition with no shedding. The cabinet is in good original condition. There some minor scratches and blemishes but overall quite nice for it’s age. IN VERY GOOD SHAPE. THIS IS IN GREAT CONDITION. PLEASE LOOK AT MY OTHER ITEMS AS MY INVENTORY WILL CHANGE CONSTANTLY.

A beautiful restoration of this vintage RCA 45 RPM record player from around 1954. The 45-HY-4 is one of RCA’s best sounding 45 phonographs. The 4 tube push-pull amplifier with tone control and large 8 inch speaker provide great sound with plenty of volume. With their cool vintage look and fantastic sound these record players have become very popular among collectors and vinyl enthusiasts. Restoration process: Unit was completely disassembled. Is in very good condition, still showing a nice shine. It has not been waxed. No chips or cracks. There are a few minor scratches and blemishes. Completely disassembled, cleaned, reassembled, lubricated, adjusted and tested. All new rubber parts: idler wheel, cycling cam, motor mounts and chassis mounts. Motor disassembled, bearings cleaned and lubricated, rotor shafts polished. Turntable chassis: old paint removed, primed, painted and clear coated. Rebuilt with all new capacitors. Resistors tested and replaced as needed. Tone and volume controls cleaned for static free operation. Original 8 inch speaker is excellent with no tears or holes. New stereo cartridge with diamond stylus bridged for mono play. This cartridge is a genuine Chuo Denshi CZ-800, not a cheap knockoff. This phonograph will safely play both stereo and mono records. Tonearm tracks nicely at a gentle 4 grams. Up to 12 records can be stacked for continuous play. This record player sounds and looks fantastic. Please examine photos carefully. They are a much better description than can be written.
