This RCA model 45-EY-3 is an excellent 45 RPM record player from about 1950. With its 4 x 6 inch speaker and powerful 3 tube amplifier it has. Great sound with plenty of room filling volume. The Bakelite cabinet is in good original condition, still showing a nice satin shine. It has not been waxed. There are no chips or cracks. There are a some scratches and blemishes. Handle is nice with a good spring. Completely disassembled, cleaned, reassembled, lubricated, adjusted and tested. All new rubber parts; idler wheel, cycling cam, motor mounts, and chassis mounts. Turntable chassis; Old paint removed, primed and painted a beautiful antique white. Resistors tested and replaced as necessary. Volume control cleaned for static free operation. New stereo cartridge (bridged for mono) with diamond stylus will safely play both stereo and mono records. Cartridge is genuine Chou Denshi, Japan. Not a cheap knockoff. This record player will be gentle to your records with a tonearm tracking force of just 4 grams. This phonograph looks fantastic and is a great way to listen to your 45’s. A beautiful restoration of this vintage RCA 45 RPM record player from around 1954. The 45-HY-4 is one of RCA’s best sounding 45 phonographs. The 4 tube push-pull amplifier with tone control and 8 inch speaker provide excellent sound with plenty of volume. These record players are becoming hard to find due to their collectability. Restoration process: Unit was completely disassembled. The Bakelite Cabinet and Lid have no chips or cracks. They have been painted and clear coated. The pilot light works. The Mechanism has been. Completely disassembled, cleaned, reassembled, lubricated, adjusted and tested. All new rubber parts have been installed; idler wheel, cycling cam, motor mounts and chassis mounts. This exquisitely restored vintage 1960 Voice of Music 306 is a portable, 4 speed, fully automatic stacking record player with auto shutoff. The original one tube amplifier has been upgraded to three tubes to allow the use of a modern ceramic stereo cartridge for improved sound and increased volume. The 5 inch speaker produces surprisingly good sound. Included is a 45 RPM adapter that has been rebuilt and works well. Phonograph was completely disassembled. All old covering material, grill cloth and hardware removed. Case repaired to be structurally sound. Expertly re-covered with high quality Tolex. This is the same material that is used on custom guitar amp cabinets. All new brass plated hardware: hinges, latches, side feet and handle straps. Rubber feet added the bottom of the unit. Thoroughly cleaned, reassembled, lubricated, adjusted and tested. New parts: Idler wheel, motor mounts and turntable mat. All new capacitors and resistors. Controls cleaned for static free operation. Beautifully restored 1962 V-M Voice of Music 4 speed portable tube stereo record player Model 357. This is a fully automatic phonograph with record stacking capability and auto shutoff. The 2 speakers each contain 2 drivers, a 6″ woofer and a 5″ midrange. This record player was completely disassembled for restoration. All old covering material and hardware was removed from the speakers and turntable case. They has been expertly re-covered with a high quality vinyl Tolex material. This is the same material used on custom guitar amplifier cases. New latches, handle and rubber feet have been applied. The record changing mechanism was meticulously cleaned, reassembled, lubricated, adjusted and tested. A new idler wheel has been installed for accurate, dependable speed. The motor was disassembled, bearings cleaned, rotor shafts polished, reassembled and lubricated. New motor mounts have been installed. A gorgeous restoration of this RCA VP-36 record player from about 1960. The VP-36 was a stereo record player originally equipped with a 4 speed record changer. This one has been converted to a 45 RPM player by fitting an RCA RP 190 record changer. It retains the original stereo tube amplifier and speaker system. Danish style legs converts this beauty to a floor standing player. Legs are easily removed so this unit can be used as a tabletop unit. An interesting feature of this record player is the speaker system. It consists of one 6 1/2 inch center woofer and two 4 inch dual cone stereo speakers that swing open on hinges that also function as the speaker connection. The speakers can easily be removed and then connected to an RCA output on back of the record player using speaker wire that is housed in each speaker. This record player is absolute eye candy that also sounds fantastic. Restoration process, Unit was completely disassembled. Old covering material removed. Case was repaired to be structurally sound. This is a nicely refurbished KLH Model Twenty-Four record player / FM receiver from the late 60’s that sounds great. The idler driven Garrard turntable has been completely rebuilt and converted to manual only play with auto shutoff. The operator must manually place the tonearm on the record. At record end the tonearm will automatically return to rest position and the unit will shut off. The turntable platter mat is in excellent condition. The cartridge is a Pickering V15/HB. The preamp, amplifier, and power supply boards have all been recapped with quality audio grade capacitors. All controls have been cleaned for static free operation. FM reception is strong with no external antenna. The original veneer on the plinth / case was peeling away and rough so it was all removed and the case has been covered with a nice tweed pattern Tolex. The original dust cover was missing. The dust cover with this unit was custom made with new clear acrylic panels and the side and back have been covered with an ivory Tolex material. The hinges are torque type that will hold the lid open at approximately 60°- 90°. The old feet have been replaced with new. The aux inputs were tested with a CD player and work fine. The power and stereo lights work as does the FM signal meter. The 6.35mm headphone jack has been tested and works well. The balance control knob is not original but is a close match. Also, the tonearm clip has been fabricated as the original was broken. Please examine photos closely for additional condition details.
