Pro-Ject 6 Perspex SB Turntable. Been designed for the modern vinyl lover, with an acrylic chassis, dust cover and a Pro-Ject 9 9cc Evolution tonearm. It has been kept in good condition, but show slight signs of use, it works perfectly. But, is not fitted with a cartridge and does NOT have its original box. The 6 Perspex SB turntable from Pro-Ject has been designed for the modern vinyl lover, with an acrylic chassis, dust cover and a Pro-Ject 9 9cc Evolution tonearm. This turntable plinth sits perfectly on three individual height-adjustable TPE-damped aluminium cones and that carries the motor and the sub-chassis. The sub-chassis is constructed from Corian, resting on three magnetic fields. The magnetic sub-chassis suspension system avoids parasitic noise normally caused by a conventional spring mechanism. The motor is quiet running driving the platter’s outside edge via a belt. The resonance-optimized platter is a uses fine-balanced medium density fibre platter and a 4mm thick flat-ground layer of vinyl and a screw-down metal record clamp. The platter runs on an inverted bearing with the stainless-steel axle carrying a ceramic ball bearing. The tonearm is a 9cc Evolution which is crafted from a single piece of carbon-fibre. The conical armtube avoids standing wave reflections. The tonearm bearing comprises four hardened stainless tips in ABEC 7 specification ball races. Supplied counterweights are suitable for cartridges weighing between 5-7.5/ 7-10/ 9-11 or 10-14g. This turntable also includes the Pro-Ject speed box, which gives you a quartz regulation and filter circuit for superb speed stability, and smooth and undisturbed motor operation. It does have some Light Marks Etc on its Chassis & signs of use from over the years. Its Perspex Lid in in Very Nice Condition, it does have Light Scratches on it, after all it is about 50 years old. Believe me, this is a Very Nice Deck that can be used straight away. We had it running for Several Hours, believe me, it really sounded the part! Pitch Control Works well, its Strobe Lights Up as it should do. A copy of its Original Instruction Manual should be available for you to download from the Internet if required. Technics SL-110 Vintage Record Player Deck Turntable & Perspex Lid (NO TONEARM). As you can see from these pictures, it is in Very Good used condition throughout. Its Perspex Lid does have Various Marks & Scratches on it, it is functional & will do its job just fine though. One of the Plastic Feet (Rear Left Hand Side) when viewed from the Front is Missing. I used a small wedge to Level it for Testing & to take the Pictures you see here of it. We had it running for Several Hours (with a SME 3009 Tonearm), believe me, it really sounded the part! It has Pitch Control, it works as it should do. The Strobe Lights Up as it should do as well. A copy of its Original Instruction Manual should be available for you to Download from the Internet if required.
