Vintage turntable Pioneer PL-560 Full Auto, Quartz Lock record player w/ Denon cart. Not the best veneer job but looks pretty good. Had some issues with it and had Stereo Rehab in Chicago overhaul it. Comes with a Denon DL-110 MC cartridge with plenty of hours left. The only issue with it is the tonearm takes a few moments longer than it should to lift off the record when you hit the’cut’ button. Otherwise, plays perfectly and sounds fantastic! For your consideration is a vintage turntable Pioneer PL-560 Full auto Quartz Lock record player. This one is one of a kind. Very high quality full auto player. Quartz Lock or pull the knob, VU meter lights turns on and manually adjust the speed. Same drive and metered speed control as PL-630. Manual or auto cueing. I never liked the thin wood border by the control panel, so I added 3/4 MDF to the right side and 1/2 MDF to the front. Then veneered it with a real wood rosewood veneer. Not peel and stick or paper backed. Real raw wood veneer. PL-630 dust cover fits perfectly with the enlarged deck. Cleaned in and out, Foam pushing tonearm back replaced. Cueing fluid replaced, new feet. Platter wet sanded and polished. Dust cover buffed and polished. Some marks here and there but very nice and solid. Looks nice and works even better. All auto features work as designed. TREBLE and BASS controls are OFF. Please, view all pictures, and let me know if you have questions. I will remove platter, hinges, counterweight and double box it. VINTAGE PIONEER PL-560 TURNTABLE. For sale we have a stunning example of the incredibly rare and very unique Pioneer PL-560 Record Player. The Pioneer PL-560 is an automatic, direct drive turntable with the same drive and metered speed control as the PL-630. The Hall DC drive motor is supplemented with an independent second motor (warren motor) which handles automatic functions of lead-in, play, return, repeat and shut-off. Low howl performance is guaranteed by use of a solid particle board base, big feet insulators and a special rubber de-coupler for the S-shaped pipe arm and counterweight. Other features include an oil-damped cueing device, record size selector, selector for automatic or manual cueing, strobe light and fine speed adjustment. Condition wise it is in lovely condition, it is missing the feet (these always are) but it does not affect functionality or play-back at all. The deck sits exactly as you see it in the photos and replacement feet can be used from other pioneer decks. The casing is in lovely condition, the pitch control v. U lights up as it should do, strobe light works perfectly. This is a 120v model but it comes with a tiny step-down transformer plug. It is ready to plug and play. There is a lid included, it is not in the best of condition but I will give this free of charge with the deck. They have gone for crazy prices in the states, and you can see why. Surely one of the coolest looking decks ever, along with that bulletproof pioneer workmanship. Motor: quartz PLL Hall motor. Platter: 320mm alloy diecast. Speeds: 33 and 45rpm. Wow and flutter: 0.035%. Cartridge weight range: 4 to 10g. Dimensions: 440 x 145 x 365mm. For your consideration is a vintage turntable Pioneer PL-560. Direct Drive, Quartz Lock. Same drive and speed metering as PL-630. You can use it a Quartz Lock player or as a manual player. Use it with Auto cueing or Manual. IMO it is a better player than PL-530. Cueing fluid is replaced. Dust cover sanded, buffed and polished. Not perfect, but solid and clear. There is a small stress mark by the right hinge. Platter was sanded and polished. Original head shell is fitted with an Audio Technica cartridge/stylus. Look at the control plate zoomed picture and see some marks on it. Gray vinyl was stripped, made the plinth perfectly squared and European walnut real wood veneer applied. I decided to leave the wood as it is. No stain or dye was applied. Please, zoom in and review the pictures about the condition as they are part of description. I take a lot of pictures. Let me know if you want to see anything upclose. It is a heavy player. Will be safely packed.
