Please, this is a FULL MANUAL turntable. NO AUTO SHUT OFF. Here is your chance to get a NM condition Pioneer PL-71 full manual turntable. Acquired from the original owner. Heavy duty steel frame. Adjustment screw is on the back of the tonearm base. I wet buffed and polished the cover and it looks like new. Arm lifter grease replaced. Original feet are excellent. Comes with Shure M91ED with original stylus, and it does plays nicely. Please, review the pictures about the condition as they are part of description. I take a lot of pictures. Let me know if you want to see anything up close. Will be secured with transport screws, safely packed, platter, hinges, counterweight, etc. Approximate box dimensions 22x18x18. Vintage Pioneer PL-71 Record Deck / Turntable. Lovely Condition, No Cartridge supplied. For sale you are looking at a fine example of the Pioneer PL-71 Turntable. A stunningly elegant and wide record player with a direct-drive hall-effect motor and a separate motor for the tonearm wrapped up in attractive look-at-me woody looks. What more can you ask for? . The DC brushless Hall motor in the PL-71 turntable combines Hall elements with a high torque motor and a semi-conductor circuit. Hall elements, production engineered by Pioneer, are used to switch the polarity in the motor. Since purely electronic communication is used for switching the motor drive circuit, harmful noise is not generated, and smooth, even rotation can be obtained with high durability. It is a fantastic turntable and prices are rising on these rare beauties. The condition is a 8.5/10 , The turntable itself is in lovely, full working order, but the lid has a few scratches on the lid that have not picked up on the photographs. Then again, it is 40 years old and to even find these with the lids still attached can be an achievement. It does not come with a cartridge. Overall, it is all set and ready to go.
