Lloyd dust cover fits, but not exact. It’s not the original dust cover. Wood plinth door on front is a little loose. No headshell, cartridge or stylus included. Unable to test properly without headshell. The turntable spins when arm is moved. Uncertain if automatic function is working and is possibly not working correctly. Shows age, wear, minor patina, staining, light scratches and dings. Dust cover shows a lot of scratches, dings and wear, and minor chips. Please view all photos. Restored Vintage Garrard Lab 80 Record Player Turntable wth original Wooden Plinth Case Frame. This turntable is in excellent condition having been fully restored to its original operating condition, save some minor cosmetic imperfections common with use. The turntable works perfectly including the auto arm return with the automatic long record spindle and auto shut off after last record play. All switches on the switch panel work, including the illuminated diameter indicator. The wooden Plinth base is original and in good shape however, the original lead feet are missing and have been replaced with rubber feet of the correct size so it doesn’t wobble. A printed PDF of the manual and a service manual will be included. Code: 70600 / 02. Installed cartridge: Genuine Empire 3000 I. Stylus: Stylus for Empire 3000 I cartridge. Would best be picked up. It does have some Light Marks Etc on its Chassis & signs of use over the years on all Control Buttons. NO TONEARM & NO PERSPEX LID. It came to us with a SME 3009 Tonearm (see my other listing). We had it running for Several Hours, believe me, it really sounded the part! Pitch Control Works well, its Strobe Lights Up as it should do.
