Great price for this fantastic sounding AT-120 turntable. It’s been tested and all functions work perfect. It comes without a dust cover and you will need a STYLUS. There’s a few chips as shown in pictures. There’s is also no operators manual. If you want great sound this is the turntable for you.

This unit was from a recent cabinet pull. It runs and the motor works well. The head unit and contacts dont connect properly and the cartridge was glued in at some point. I will leave this work to a professional. The skilfully designed 4 pole capacitor-start hysteresis synchronous motor in the P-68H provides low vibration and stability of each speed. Wow and flutter which are caused by vibration of mechanism and leakage flux are also eliminated by utmost care and craftsmanship of long experiences. A finely-finished 12 diameter aluminium die-casting turntable, with heavy rim for flywheel effect, guarantees the safest performance. A firm rubber mat protects record against abrasion and prevents flutter. Speed change is made by knob on the panel, with 0 position between each speed. This Realistic turntable had been i n storage for decades and seems to be in beautiful shape. I t powered on, the arm moved automatically and played the record. The weight of the arm is clearly out of adjustment because the needle practically floats over the record. Also, when I plugged it into the receiver, it seemed noisy, like a hum. It changed slightly when I jiggled the RCA cables. We know almost nothing about proper operation so assume that it’ll need some TLC. Cosmetically, its very nice. The dust cover is scratched and has a couple cracks but otherwise, the whole unit is really good. Also, the turntable rubber plate has obviously been re-glued, and you can see some overage around the outside of the platter. T he mystery to me is the sticker on the back that says “Emerson Model 740″. No clue what that’s about. We’ll cover proper packaging to ensure that it gets to you in its current, pictured condition.
