Vintage Rondine REK-O-KUT B-12 record player

Vintage Rondine REK-O-KUT B-12 record player. This turntable is very clean. My father bought it I think some time in the 60s. Powers up and spins on all 3 speeds. I no longer have anything with a phono input so I can’t fully test it. It has gold plated Monster RCA cables installed but the original cables will come with it. It has a what i think is a black lacquer finish. It has checks and cracks in the surface which is hard to see in the pics. It has a Shure M8DM cartridge. The electronics have been stripped out of it but is perfect set up to install your own record player inside and maybe even your receiver and audio components underneath. The item for sale today is a vintage Rek O Kut Turntable. The model is a N-34H. It has a wood base and has the ability to play both 33 and 45 records! The turntable is used and has some wear from previous use. The plater has a marking from where the belt has been sitting. It does not have the mat platter. Instead it just has a piece of felt. It does turn on and runs at both speeds. Overall, it is in excellent condition for its old age! No needle/headshell is included! The turntable is not connected to the base and just sits on top of the base. The turntable is very clean! Rek-O-Kut Record Player Cutter Lathe Imperial II TR43H MasterPro M-12S Audax RH5

Up for sale here is this beautiful vintage Rek-O-Kut Imperial II record cutter lathe. This is a portable record cutter, amazingly enough, and comes in a nice gray case with a double handle for extra lifting power. It is marked “Model Imp-2″ on the bottom left corner, “Model TR43H” below the platter, “Master Pro Model M-12S” on the cutting arm, and the cutting head is marked Audax 8 ohms Mod. The playback tonearm as a GE VRII cartridge in it with a bent stylus, though it’s probably fixable or you can always replace the stylus. This is in great cosmetic condition but does have some wear. The case has light overall wear and some spotting. The playback arm has some peeling/corrosion on the aluminum–not sure what that’s about. I took a close-up picture so you could see. Rek-O-Kut B-12GH Idler-Drive 33-45-78 RPM Turntable Record Player Working

Apparently this was originally owned by the CBS Network, as a CBS HQ inventory sticker was found under the platter. The base appears to be solid walnut; it is not a laminate or plywood. The turntable presents very well, seethe pictures. The arm is missing. The arm is a Micro-Seki or Syn-Teck I believe, and was also private labeled for several broadcast equipment manufacturers in the 60s and 70s. I believe this company evolved into Audio Technica. I have played 45s and albums and can attest that it works fine. Several question have come to me about the arm mounting. I believe the table originally (probably) had a Micro Poise R O K arm. At some time a Shure broadcast arm was attached, using the original hole, but with the addition of three tapped screws. I chose to cover those screw holes with the silver plate you see mounted under the arm however, that plate is not permanently mounted. I also added an underneath picture so you can see how clean it is, and check out the arm mounting question. Thank you for your interest. This just in: we believe the arm to be a Piezo – PU-402.
