This is a very nice condition transcription broadcast turntable by Russco. It is a Cue Master 3 speed. It has been serviced and the only issue may be the idler wheel rubber wear. Cartridge and Tone Arm in Good Order. You can see what you are getting by the photos. Case is custom built for the unit for protection. Very Rare RUSSCO STUDIO PRO MODEL B, Broadcast Turntable with Plinth-Working. PLEASE READ ENIRELY and refer to images of actual item for sale. Some issues are minor can be fixed like replacing bulbs, painting numbers, lubricating motor and etc. In 33rpm speed motor runs quietly plays records fine, 33rpm light does not lit, 33rpm numbers half faded. In 45rpm speed motor makes little audible noise but it plays 45 records, 45rpm light lit-up but (45rpm) numbers faded. Due to age felt on mat is not perfect, it support record fine but could use aftermarket mat. Wood plinth has few marks that can be smooth out with sand paper and polish. Power cord plug cover has hard paper. Unit does not come with shell, cartridge/stylus. The Fractional HP Motor, Shift mechanisms can use little cleaning, lubrication and adjustment, I will leave it for new owner to make it right. Very rare and hard to find most desirable Audiophile/ Broadcast 70’s Studio Pro Model B turntable. Nice and heavy arm. Platter weighs over 7 lbs. Attached 3 prong AC connector. I hardly seen this complete unit for sale (even in this condition). RUSSCO Turntables were proudly built in the USA, for use in the Broadcast Industry and as such were frequently used by Radio Stations and Recording Studios. Consequently they are of extremely heavy duty construction. Broadcast Turntables were often used 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year! RUSSCO Turntables were consequently built like tanks! Mechanically this turntable is a marvel of over engineering! The chassis is made of heavy, ribbed cast aluminum. The platter is cast aluminum and is precision lathe turned. This Studio Pro sits on a heavy custom CLD, (Constrained Layer Damping) anti resonant plinth. The plinth is crafted from multiple layers of Premium grade birch hardwood plywood and other acoustically inert material. The platter alone weighs over 7 pounds! The spindle bearing is huge, being a full 3/4 in diameter, and runs in two large bushings. Ball bearings on the spindle end and in the spindle carrier ensure low friction, for dead accurate speeds. The Tone arm is very highly rated, and can embarrass even very expensive modern Tone arms. My asking price wont be disappointed with the quality of parts, pretty much complete unit and very rare piece and the sounds it produces is amazing. RUSSCO STUDIO PRO MODEL B (as pictured). Free 2 used GRADO Moving Magnet Cartridges/stylus (Cartridges G and ZF3) not sure how much life left on these cartridges. Free New S Head Shell with mounting screws.
