It is old but in good condition. It has a built-in amplifier, so you can play the sound right away by putting a record on it. You can also listen to LP records as shown in the photo. It also comes with an adaptor for doughnut vinyl records. I have not tried using batteries, but the inside of the battery box is clean. The box is included.
