It does play static out of the speakers unless you find the right volume and balance but I did read it might just need cleaning to solve. The rubber record mat needs re gluing and There is a small dent in one speaker that doesn’t affect functionality. See pics for measurements and condition. You are purchasing the. Vtg Arvin Solid State Psychedelic Blue & Yellow Phonograph Record Player ASIS. The player itself is in excellent condition. Plug it in, turn it on and the record spins. Drop the arm on the record and it doesn’t play through the speakers, but you can hear it softly on the record. The psychedelic lights do NOT work. So, the record spins, but nothing else works. The case in excellent, the cord is twisted, but you get power. However, I have never seen an Arvin Psychedelic Phonograph, it’s really cool. I use new uLine boxes and bubble wrap. This turns on, the platter spins, and I can hear sound through both speakers. However, there is a humming sound at all times while it is turned on. I have not tried to play an actual record because of the humming sound.

Speakers are not in luded and would be needed to fully function. However, when plugged in the turntable spins, there is a working needle and you can faintly hear the sound from the record itself. Can be adjusted to play 33. The Cassette player spins when the playfew and rewind buttons are pressed and there is a record option. Cannot hear the radio w/o speakers but red light comes on. Unable to reliable say if tone and balance knows work since no speakers. The casi g itself is in great shape and no cracks ks or breaks to the plastic top. Unit measures 17″ wide, 16″ deep.
