A “Stereophonic” high-fidelity portable model, typically built into a suitcase-style carrying case for easy transport. Simple analog interface with dedicated knobs for Tone and Volume. Features a mid-century modern aesthetic with a gray woven fabric speaker grille and a cream-colored control panel. Turntable has been tested and it powers on but will. Require further repair to work as intended.

Very nice vintage phonograph, shows little wear due to use and age, some rusting around main latch, tested with a record and has good sound. Styrofoam on turntable is brittle and has degraded due to age and will need replaced at some point. Nice vintage piece for any collection or home. Up for sale is a 1950’s Motorola SH16E Stereophonic Golden Voice Record Player Portable Turntable Suitcase. This is completely untested I know nothing about the unit. Will need a detailed cleaning seems to open and close just fine. There is surface wear throughout as shown with some gouges and scratching. I believe speakers will separate so they can be placed within cords reach.

HERE WE HAVE: A vintage Zenith Stereophonic portable record player! Marked as model MPS 85. I believe this is a tube unit. It has a four speed turntable and five speakers. It was tested for power and it seems to be working okay, but not fully tested without that needle. There are scuffs, scratches, and stains scattered about to the piece. Metal hardware has surface rust. Will come as shown, so p. MEASUREMENTS: When closed up, the piece measures approximately 23″ x 18″ x 12 1/4. The “not as described” return option is not to be used to resolve damaged item cases.

Awesome Philco portable record player from the early 60’s. Plugged it in and tested with a record. It plays and speakers sound really good. The pace of the record was not consistent – speeding up and slowing down here and there. I can see there is some rodent damage on the inside. Something has chewed away the white vinyl covering in the turntable area.

Rare Vintage 1961 Symphonic Stereophonic Portable Record Player Model 1707 with Detachable Speakers in Powder Blue and White. Each speaker cord is stored inside the speaker and can reach up to 7-1/2 feet away from the main body of the turntable. When all 3 pieces are connected and closed up the whole thing measures 17-1/4″ x 12-3/4″ and is 6-1/2 thick. The power cord is 55 long. Each speaker is 12-3/4″ x 6″ and 3 thick. The turntable spins properly at different speeds, but has not otherwise been tested. The speakers work, but I have not tried to play an album out of them. The overall outer condition is a little rough, but no major damage or missing parts. Photos are part of the description. Thank you for your interest!
