Vintage 1950’s “TRI-O-MATIC” made by Voice of Music. Some light signs of age on outside as seen in pictures. Both latches still work and the handle is still strong. Some tape remnants on the top which should clean off. All four feet are still on the unit and are not dried out. The grill is in good shape with no snags or holes. All knobs physically rotate as they should. The arm is lose and will need reattached. When plugged in the unit rotates nicely. Three speed with 45 33 and 78 speeds. 16 x 17.5 x 9. It will be protected well and insured.

Up for sale is a 1950’s Motorola SH16E Stereophonic Golden Voice Record Player Portable Turntable Suitcase. This is completely untested I know nothing about the unit. Will need a detailed cleaning seems to open and close just fine. There is surface wear throughout as shown with some gouges and scratching. I believe speakers will separate so they can be placed within cords reach.

This exquisitely restored vintage 1960 Voice of Music 306 is a portable, 4 speed, fully automatic stacking record player with auto shutoff. The original one tube amplifier has been upgraded to three tubes to allow the use of a modern ceramic stereo cartridge for improved sound and increased volume. The 5 inch speaker produces surprisingly good sound. Included is a 45 RPM adapter that has been rebuilt and works well. Phonograph was completely disassembled. All old covering material, grill cloth and hardware removed. Case repaired to be structurally sound. Expertly re-covered with high quality Tolex. This is the same material that is used on custom guitar amp cabinets. All new brass plated hardware: hinges, latches, side feet and handle straps. Rubber feet added the bottom of the unit. Thoroughly cleaned, reassembled, lubricated, adjusted and tested. New parts: Idler wheel, motor mounts and turntable mat. All new capacitors and resistors. Controls cleaned for static free operation. Tubes tested and are strong. Modern ceramic stereo cartridge bridged for mono play. Tonearm tracking adjusted to 4 grams. This record player will be gentle to your records. Flip over style needle. One side for LP’s and 45’s, the other side for 78’s. It can play 12 inch LP’s, 10 inch 78’s and 7 inch 45’s, automatically selecting record size for correct tonearm landing and shuts down after the last record has played. This is an absolutely beautiful record player that works perfectly and sounds great. Please examine photos carefully. They are an excellent description of this phonograph. Thanks for taking a look.

Very rare and hard to find Voice of Music Model 1296 phonograph. Player turns on and record spins. Needs new needle, turner knob only goes one way. Beautiful piece will be a great restoration project.

Beautifully restored 1962 V-M Voice of Music 4 speed portable tube stereo record player Model 357. This is a fully automatic phonograph with record stacking capability and auto shutoff. The 2 speakers each contain 2 drivers, a 6″ woofer and a 5″ midrange. This record player was completely disassembled for restoration. All old covering material and hardware was removed from the speakers and turntable case. They has been expertly re-covered with a high quality vinyl Tolex material. This is the same material used on custom guitar amplifier cases. New latches, handle and rubber feet have been applied. The record changing mechanism was meticulously cleaned, reassembled, lubricated, adjusted and tested. A new idler wheel has been installed for accurate, dependable speed. The motor was disassembled, bearings cleaned, rotor shafts polished, reassembled and lubricated. New motor mounts have been installed. The amplifier has been rebuilt with all new electrolytic capacitors. A new polarized AC cord has been installed. The tubes test good. A new stereo cartridge with diamond flip over needle is mounted. This phonograph can play LP’s and 45’s or 78’s with a flip of the needle. Included is a 45 stacking spindle that works great. The tone arm tracks nicely at a gentle 4 grams. This is a beautiful and excellent sounding record player that would be a great addition to anyone’s collection.

After testing I have found tht the amplifier is in excellent working order with no issues. Attaching an auxillary source (a cd player) it was found to function as intended. The record player is touchy.
