Turns up and down with no problems at all. No crackling sound or nothing. The CD player opened and shuts, I cant get sound to play. I lost the remote, but Im sure I will locate it soon. This has been in the darkest part of my garage for the past 25 years. Im in Las Vegas, so there is no issues of moisture or rain. The right speaker came apart and the mid and high tweeter came apart from the crossover. Im sure it works. The normal left low speaker works, the other just need to be plugged in. The right speaker sounds amazing! I cant believe this thing is 150 watts! It is actually sick! This was my wives and she says it was bought oversees when they lived in Saudi Arabia. Shes not sure if her parents got it for her in Europe, or where she lived in Arabia for years. The Tape player has issues. It did open up and let me put a tape in, buts its not playing currently. Now I cant get the tape out. It does rewind and fast forward, also I can hear it play across the tape head while its spinning in reverse. I believe its has the ability for seek the next song. I believes it had auto reversed too. The radio works great, I think it needs a new background light. The eq works great. I did several settings, and its great! The bass is a insane.
