1958 Voice Of Music VM 580 hi-fi record player phonograph stereo
Nice hi-fi in overall good shape. Several years ago I rebuilt the amplifier and it works fine. I also ditched the original speakers and installed some Audio Nirvana ceramic full-range 12’s, which are very nice. Honestly, the speakers alone are worth the price. The turntable does not work very well. It never has, despite many attempts on my part. But the phono on this thing doesn’t sound particularly good anyway, so I eventually gave up on fixing it and just used an external turntable and ran it into the 580’s amp. And, finally, our cat used the grill cloth as a scratching post. It’s not too bad, though. But all the wood is in decent condition besides a few blemishes that could easily be refinished, and the amp and speakers sound great. 55″ W x 21″ D x 32 H.
