For sale here in Plainville, CT is a GORGEOUS refinished antique 1918 Victor Victrola model VV-X-A in rare golden tiger oak. This player plays GREAT and loud. I have made a video. It is all but complete missing one door knob. The hardware is wonderful. No pitting and the hand painting is strong and looks brand new. The nickel plating is EXCELLENT!!! This is a collector’s piece. This player has been refinished and judging by the sound, the reproducer has been rebuilt or hardly used. It is one of the best sounding players I have ever owned. The oak is so nice to see refinished. It is bright and clean (not as red as the photos are showing) and they took the time to match the underside of the hood perfectly. It looks now very closely to what it looked like when new. I see a small cup stain on the top hood that is hardly noticeable in person. My camera is making it appear much worse. Also all exterior areas are matched to the underside color of the hood. It is a great job. My camera is making the doors appear slightly darker. I encourage you to see this in person. I do not know how to set the auto stop but it looks complete and just needs to be lubricated and set up. The fast/slow works great! This phonograph would look incredible in the parlor of an oak trimmed Victorian or any home for that matter! This unit comes with 10 records. NOTE: I found a set of VV-X Victrola wood wheels for this unit so it has Victrola wheels now too. It should come up. You can always send a shipper to pick this up. I will be well packed and will arrive to you in good condition but will be insured as well. Thank you for looking!
