Vintage Phonograph EDISON Amberola 30 Cylinder Record Player WORKS
Edison Amberola 30 Cylinder Phonograph. Please check out the short video I made of this phonograph playing a record. Needs someone with the know-how to get this player back in prime condition. The case looks to be in good overall condition for the age; some scattered scratches, dings, marks, etc. There are two small filled in holes on the front sides (see pic with arrows). The front grill is a reproduction, not original and seems fragile. The small set screw on the mandrel has part of the screw head broken off. The tracking on record sticks when playing sometimes, not sure what is causing this. There looks to be something missing where the horn rests just inside the front grill, there is a small metal rod sticking up that looks to be missing something?? Everything is very old and shows wear throughout from use and age. Please look over all enlarged photos for a better idea of condition. This has been in storage for a very long time and has not been cleaned or serviced. Wooden case (closed) measures about 12.5″w (not including crank handle) x 16″d x 13 tall.
