The iconic Dansette record player from the 1960s, which seems to be working regarding stop, start and auto. The present cartridge is nearly solid with dirt but sound does come out of the speakers. There are some old dormant woodworm holes in the case – which is structurally sound. It has all it’s original decals – most in good condition but alas, after all these years has lost that distinctive chlorine smell that came from the vinyl covering. The youngsters amongst you may not be aware of this – but to boost the bass you put half a crown on the tone arm and piled books on top of the lid. Condition = Poor – Fair.
