Rare Antique Galvin-Motorola Recorder and Wireless Record Player Cutter Lathe
Up for sale here is this beautiful antique Galvin-Motorola Recorder and Wireless Record Player. This has two arms–one for playback and one for cutting. The cutting arm has what I believe is an Astatic X29A head in it–it’s marked 12781 X29A 4110. ” The playback arm has a Webster Electric “X82CM cartridge in it. This is in great shape with light wear and some light dust, and will clean up really well. It is exactly as found. The cutting head does not have a stylus, and the AC cord and other cables may need replacing. It will probably need the usual recap/clean and lube and may need more advanced rebuilding as well.
