Turntable Record Player, Direct Drive, without Tonearm FOR PICKUP ONLY
See video at end of this description (tonearm is NOT included). I built this turntable in the late 70’s. It is designed for an SME 3009 tonearm. The turntable has a separate power and control unit. It works on 220VAC so you will need a step-up transformer. But the price is very low. The cable from the power unit to the turntable contains a fiber optic which brings white LED lighting to the stroboscope so you can adjust the speed (for 33 or 45 rpm). It is made of a thick slab of aluminum which is anodized. The feet are adjustable in height. It comes with the plexiglass cover and the platen rubberized pad (which reduces sensitivity to vibrations). It also includes the 90 degree prism for the stroboscope and the bubble level.
