Vintage RCA Vacuum Tube Suitcase Record Player 16, 45, 33, & 78 rpm All original
Original mid century vintage RCA Victor suitcase tube record player. Plays 16, 45, 33, and 78 rpm records. Still has the rare original 45 rpm tower adaptor. (These seem to always be missing for some reason). Features a pair of detachable speakers with 45 inch cables. The volume and tone knobs work fine. Made in the United States. Nice piece for any collector. Note: The lid clip on the left speaker is missing, and there are a couple of minor cosmetic issues (see photos). Also this record player could use a good overall cleaning, as well as cleaning the speaker plugs and inputs. I’ve factored these issues into the price. The volume is adequate for a machine like this. (not as loud as my vintage hi fi amps and floor speakers), but sounds like record players use to back in the day. Listening to “I Want To Hold Your Hand” like I did this afternoon takes me back to 1964 when my friend had the first copy in my neighborhood of Meet The Beatles right after they were on Sullivan in February 1964.
