This method compares the output pulses of a generator attached to the motor’s rotation axis with the pulses of a quartz oscillator to detect phase differences and maintain the motor’s rotation speed. The XL-1550’s drive circuit operates in the forward and reverse directions, allowing the motor to rotate faster and electrically brake in the reverse direction for quicker response.
