1955 Symphonaire Radio/Phonograph Hello! Thanks for stopping in to see one of my latest restorations… Here’s beautiful and rare 1956 Westinghouse Radio and Phonograph. What a well thought out design in this neat Symphonaire HiFi! 1956 Westinghouse Radio/Phonograph Hi-Fidelity! Video will open in a new window. This player has been completely restored, and looks just fabulous with it’s black and tan 2 toned cabinet and gold accents. Measurements are: 31″ long, by 23″ deep, and 30 tall with the legs attached. You can remove the legs and use this on a table or bench if desired. The cabinet was recovered with exact reproduction vintage style coverings… Makes this player look like it would have new in the music shop back in’55! Records are played on a beautiful 3 speed automatic record changer that was completely taken apart and serviced to work like new again. Changer is in very nice original condition, besides a little wear to the flocking… The record changer is built into a uniquely designed drawer that slides out and is totally hidden when you slide it back in… Allows you to play records both open or closed. Powered by a classic copper plated, warm full sounding 6 tube amplifier and full range speaker system. The amplifier has all new components, including all new resistors and capacitors, and strong tubes. A nice added feature of this is the external ipod input located on the back panel. You can simply plug in your ipod, or iphone and listen to it through the players amplifier… Very convenient, and sounds terrific!! The sleek vintage control knobs allow you to adjust Loudness, Tone, Radio, Phono, and Tuning… What a fabulous example of a 1950’s mid century HiFi; wonderfully restored, and ready for many years of listening pleasure!
