Vintage Record Player c. 1964 Bush SRP31D Valve Tube Monarch Autochanger British. This vintage record player was produced by Bush, in the era where they still made quality electronics, rather than the foreign-made budget devices their name is applied to in the present day. This model, the SRP31D, was a valve-powered record player, fitted with a Monarch autochanger and powered by Mullard ECL86s. This example comes with a manual, but this is for the earlier SRP31C and appears to be unconnected. The player is mains-powered, but designed to be portable, as it features a carry handle. It weighs 9.8 Kg and is of typical size for the period, measuring 4. The player is in good cosmetic condition for its age, with only some light cleaning required. The chrome plate at the bottom of the front is missing (it is the panel which shows which is the volume dial, etc). The record player does work, but needs either a new needle and/or new cartridge as it does play records but the quality is poor. The manual is in good condition for its age, but does show a few damp spots, etc. In the latter case, we will send you an invoice ASAP. Some of the exceptions to these rules are as follows.
