I’ve got a couple kids who are nearing college age and pretty soon my wife and I are going to be on our own. Maybe this will turn in to a side hustle that can help offset tuition costs and provide us a small revenue stream as we move towards retirement. Finally, I’m trying to show my kids the art of flipping items for profit. Some of the items I list for sale are things they no longer use, so they reap the reward and learn some valuable life/business lessons along the way. Finally, I like the nostalgia that comes from sourcing the items I sell. Most of the stuff I sell are things that I owned, used or wanted (but never had) when I was growing up.
