1950s RCA Victor High Fidelity Phonograph Record Player 3-HES-5 & Speaker Stand
A 1953 RCA Victor-Victrola Phonograph Record Player (model 3-HES-5)with twin speaker stand (model HF-2-STD). The phonograph was designed to play 33, 45 and 78 RPM records. The phonograph is housed within a wood case with hinged lid and the stand is comprised of four tapered legs and a shelf supporting two speakers. 6C4 12AX7 50C5 50C5. Power type and voltage. Alternating Current supply (AC) / 60 Hz, 115 Volt. Permanent Magnet Dynamic (PDyn) Loudspeaker (moving coil) / Ø 8 inch = 20.3 cm. Overall good to good vintage condition with minor bumps and dings to the edges and legs that can be expected with age and use. The lady I bought it from said “works great” but I can’t get it to power on. Power cord is intact and appears to be in good condition.
