It is a solid semi-automatic turntable. This unit came with different spindles. This unit is supplied with the “stacking spindle”. This means you can put up to six 12 records on top of the spindle and the turntable will automatically play all six (one side only) without you having to get up and change the record. We definitely recommend reading the user manual to get full use of all the features of the Technics SL-1650! This is a used unit. Physically this unit is in great condition for its age with some small, general nicks and scratches from use and age. This cover shows signs of wear like scuffs and scratches, however overall in good condition and perfect for protecting your new turntable. It is a nice dark grey colour. This unit has been tested and we can confirm it is fully functional. Please be aware this unit is 100V. Please be aware this unit will not be able to play 45’s with the holes cut out because the unit only comes with one kind of spindle and it doesn’t seem like you can get a 45 adaptor on there.
