Jetstar II by Zenith, Stereo Console Record Player Fully Serviced and Bluetooth Ready! A beautiful walnut finished, retro cool, 1971 Solid State Stereo/Radio/Record Player Console by Zenith. The cabinet is in wonderful condition but does have some minor age related marks, the walnut top surface has been sanded down and refinished and now looks amazing….. All surfaces have been completely cleaned and dressed. The speaker grille cloth has been replaced with new Acoustone fabric and looks superb! The fully working tuner/amplifier has had a complete service and all the audio path electrolytic capacitors have been replaced with new. It has a fully serviced, cleaned and re-greased turntable and a new needle has been added…. All ready to play Barry or Herb! Although we all still want to hear our old vinyl through this great analog sound-cabinet, it comes complete with Bluetooth installed so you can stream all your music in beautiful rich, retro-stereo through it’s six speakers! Although previously noted, here is the 16 point service list. Tuner/amplifier chassis is removed and all resistors checked. Tubes and/or transistors are checked and any weak/faulty ones replaced with new. All wax-paper capacitors are replaced and in most cases all electrolytic caps replaced. All controls are cleaned with De-Oxit contact cleaner. Dial facia bulbs are replaced with new. Tuner cord is inspected and replaced if frayed. Turntable is removed and mechanism cleaned and re-greased. Spindle bearing is cleaned and re-greased. Idler wheel is inspected and replaced if needed. Motor mounts are checked and often replaced. Motor is cleaned and armature bearings re-oiled. Turntable is RPM checked to be at correct speed. A new needle is installed and often a new cartridge. Speakers are checked and faulty ones replaced with new. Speaker cross-over caps are checked and often replaced. Cabinet is cleaned, polished and completely dressed. Dimensions: 26.5Hx41Wx17.5D. I strive to give as accurate a description as possible, but patina and age-related wear are to be expected with a 50 year old item. However, I will always indicate any noticeable defects…..
