You Are Looking At a Tannoy / Micro Seiki TM55DD Direct Drive Turntable Record Player – Made in Japan – Original Headshell & Working Cartridge/Stylus. This is a pretty rare unit, only made for 1 year. The sound is smooth and beautiful. Condition: Unit is in overall Nice Cosmetic and Working. However the plastic dust cover does have some wear, some light cracks and other moderate. There is also some front right bottom corner wear. Visible in the first three pictures. Unit is fitted with Marantz feet from a spare 6300. This is my daily driver as I love the sound of this unit. This one left my Marantz 6300 collecting dust. Signs of Use: Good / Moderate. Works perfectly, sound is great. Only consideration is the wear pictured to the plastic cover, and some imperfections on the finish (well hidden).
