Vintage Califone 1410K 4 Speed Solid State Phonograph Record Player Powers Up. This is a portable, two-part leather case player. Condition: It’s a clean nice-looking unit. The leather case has a Nick on the front, see photo. It also looks like a child has used a crayon to color on the inside instruction top. The unit is complete and original as far as I can tell. It Powers up well and all the speeds appear to be accurate. Sound quality is not as good as it should be. I don’t know if it is something that needs to be cleaned or if the cartridge needs to be replaced. Sound is low and not as clear as it should be. I don’t think it’s anything major, but it needs to be looked at and serviced for best performance.
