Technics SL-1500 Direct Drive Turntable Record Player Amazing Condition
Technics SL-1500 Direct Drive Turntable. This turntable has been sat in storage for many years. It’s in amazing condition and shows only very minimal signs of wear. I’ve opened her up, given her a full clean including the pitch potentiometers with an electrical contract cleaner, and oiled the spindle bearing with the correct Technics oil before being re-built. I don’t know a huge amount about these turntables, I come from a DJ background and the 1200 series is where my knowledge lies, but from what I can tell, everything is in perfect working order. The audio is perfect, crystal clear, and even across both left and right channels. The dust cover is complete without any cracks, although it does have a fair few hairline scratches. It has a Stanton 500 attached, and although the stylus seems to work well, it is quite dirty so could probably do with being replaced. These are cheap enough though. Quite a rare and sought after turntable in very good condition at an excellent price. Cash on collection from Derby, UK is preferable however I may be able to deliver if fairly local.
