The Denon DP-50M is a direct-drive turntable that was released in Japan in 1978, during the “Golden Era” of Japanese audiophile equipment. Though this turntable does not have a mainstream following outside of Japan, among Japan-savvy audiophiles the DP-50M has a phenomenal reputation for its high-quality playback performance, with stable rotation speed, high SNR (>75 dB), very low motor noise, and very low wow and flutter. This particular unit is in very good condition, with only minor wear and aging throughout, including some minor scratches and scuffs (please see photos).
